I don't want to send emails, answer calls, flip burgers, or any of that brainless bullshit. I don't want to do someone else's bidding my entire life. I don't want to have to go to a place I hate, pretend I don't want to kill myself when I get home, every fucking day just to barely afford basic human necessities.
What I WANT to do, is live on a farm with my wife, away from society, and build up a home there. Build some fences, raise some animals, build coops, section and grow a garden, etc. Raise a family there, and live off the land doing everything from scratch. THAT'S meaningful work – not fucking slaving for hours on end everyday just to barely be able to afford rent. I want to listen to the sounds of nature everyday, not doors being slammed in an office, phones ringing, burgers sizzling, cars polluting the earth, etc.
Unfortunately, the human race decided to force everything to be associated with money. Hell, our oxygen's gonna cost money soon, you already know our food water and shelter does. Fucking pieces of paper that society collectively placed value upon and allowed to control their lives. All I'll say about this shit is it can't last forever man. Society is going to collapse sooner rather than later. World War 3 will pop up in a hurry. All I see in the future is a ton of bad things, and humans continuing to delude themselves and look away from the ugly truths. We've lived in comfort for quite a while now, and something tells me that's going to massively change within the next 2 decades.
