I’m in a union that spans states

And was basically told by the union rep that the store I work for basically counts on the ability to pay people less for the same job as part of their profit margin. So people doing the same job 20 minutes away are entitled to $3-4 more per hour just because the store is in another state. I’ve been doing the least I can possibly get away with and fuming the last two days. How do people think this is an acceptable way to live? I work 6 days straight 10-6 and can’t afford a 1 bedroom in the town the store in and breaking my back over insurance that I won’t be able to pay medical bills anyway. How long do we have to accept being trampled over and treated like cattle before things change? Cause I can’t spend 1/3 of my life plus doing this shit and still…
