I’m not training my replacement for less than their pay

Last year I was on my way out from my father's and his co-owner's business. I was pissed at him for not letting me go see my sick grandmother, but while I vented to close coworkers, I did not vent to acquaintances and did not let it impact my job performance. The close coworkers no longer work there for various reasons (mainly lack of healthcare and they paid $11/hr and demanded too much). During this time, they hired my replacement. I was fine with this. It was no secret I was getting ready to go. I trained her the best I could. I was told not to hold her hand like I did past employees. I was told to teach her every aspect of my job. I did my best.

I ended up not quitting. I stayed, knowing she was getting paid more, but ended up keeping my title of manager and ended up giving up on trying to get her to comply with SOP (I was not backed when I tried to tell my bosses she was not catching on). I ended up just doing the tasks myself rather than fight with enforcing SOP and gave up on having her perform the computer related tasks.

Additionally there is a high turn over rate because they paid $11/hr and demanded a lot. After the my replacement was hired, I decided to restructure responsibility and gave lower duties to the new hires thinking they made only $11/hr.

They make $15/hr. That is my pay rate.

So I restructured the work flow to give them one heavy responsibility. I am very pro worker, and felt this single added responsibility was fair for their pay grade. They still have the lightest workflow since my and my replacement do all of the complex work. I also made sure to let them know if they're asked to do something they have not been trained on, to let me or my replacement do it instead since I didn't want them over used. I told them if they want to learn the skill, they can ask and I will set up training, but don't attempt it until you're trained on it and getting trained on responsibility above pay grade is optional.

After my team was running smoothly and I committed the new responsibilities to paper, I asked my replacement to read over her responsibilities. I had her title as my assistant. I told her I would be showing hers and my responsibilities to our bosses and negotiating my pay. I asked her to please let me know if there is anything she is currently doing that I did not include on the list because I wanted to be sure she got full credit for her job.

She confirmed her 11 item list was correct. Mine was 21. To be fair, 7 are related to staff oversight, SOP, and management.

I asked my bosses for a pay raise Monday. I also told them i understood we are a small business and I would be willing to negotiate multiple options. I would even give up my leadership title and become the assistant. I would continue to run the computer related tasks that my replacement did not pick up and asked I be paid the same as them. Our duties would be an equal 14, with giving up the 7 duties but retaining the computer tasks. I said I would even accept less pay than her if I could work from home since they don't utilize me at the front and none of my tasks require me to be physically at the office.

They asked for a week to discuss it.

Today the co-owner brought me in. Basically told me I'm not getting a raise. That's completely off the table. I told them because it is my father's business and I don't want to see it fail, I will accept not getting a raise if I could work from home.

They asked for a week to consider it.

I'm fucking crushed. I live at home because my credit is trash. I had my income at the right rate, but rent everywhere went up and now I can no longer afford it. So I live with my boss. My car is broken and my boss is my ride to and home from work.

I'm trying to find a new job that is work from home. I can't quit until I get a new job.

I refuse to train my replacement for less than they are making. If they're taking my job, pay me what you're paying them until I leave.

If my work from home is rejected I'm demoting myself all the way down to just front desk person. I refuse to do more work for less pay any longer.

Edit: I was also told that I have to get with a coworker and schedule a mediation between myself, her, and have the co-owner present. The reason for this is she is complaining about me. I know she is complaining about me because she keeps giving my staff directions that conflict what the bosses have told me they want. I was told to have my staff do x, y, z. She is asking them to do d, g, q. I get scolded when they don't do x, y, z and do d, g, q. So I'm getting upset and telling my staff to ignore her and please just do x, y, z. And all this is my fault and I'm in the wrong.
