So as the title says, I'm handling in my 2 week notice to my job today, both writtenand verbal. I'm sick of higher managers never giving me anything to do, criticizing me behind my back, lowkey accusing me of stealing money, scheduling me to work alone at least once a week, and their overall attitude when speaking with me on important issues.
The only issue is I'm scared they'll fire me on the spot instead of letting me ride out the last 2 weeks. I know I'm already leaving, I don't mind that I'll potentially be without a job sooner rather than later. But would it affect my ability to be hired at other places in the future? I don't want to give notice and end up fucking myself over. If it could hurt me to be fired I'd rather just quit on the spot. Can anybody give me some advice to help calm my nerves? Thanks!
