i signed on to this company LAST MONTH. they did not provide the ability to formally request UNPAID TIME OFF. i am jewish, integral to the function of my congregation, and require that time off TO PERFORM CONGREGATIONAL DUTIES. i made my requirements extremely clear in both interviews AND afterward. hr had previously endorsed and assured my needs be respected. i maintain favor with EVERYONE in my department and get GLOWING reviews. said boss regularly misses days because he just doesn't feel like coming in, forcing my immediate supervisor to not only run service calls but to manage the entire department. my company gives time off for the weekend of CHRISTMAS and december 26th. i believe that respecting christmas but not hannukah can fall under religious discrimination and am willing to bet on it. again, they signed this time over to me. i would be there if i didn't have…
