My job is salaried (30k) and I don't need to submit my hours and no one tracks them. I'm supposed to work 40 hours per week but I've only been working 30. I don't clock in or out, but I am required to be available at all times which is mostly just responding to an email or text. On occasion, like if the weather is bad I just don't go in. 100% I always expect a call or text from my boss asking if I'm coming, and it's never happened.
Here's the kicker. I'm performing better than most of my coworkers when it comes to our goals and numbers, and I'm new to the company! I think that's why my boss never questions me. Everyone always tells me I'm doing a great job. Hopefully I don't get fired for skipping 10 hours per week
