I'm fortunate enough my current forced return to work is one day a month (for now), but a quarter my team is in India and another quarter across the US, so returning everyday would be a hard sell.
Regardless, I came across this article and it infuriated me:

I left my previous employer because of a manger like that. I was working half remote due to a 1.5-2 hour commute to work for a year and a half. My boss retired and the new guy decided to end all WFH as well as several other short sited decision. I quit after 6 months. The thing is, I really liked that job and the whole affair left a real sour taste in my mouth. Funny enough, two months after I (and several others prior to me) left COVID hit. What a fucking jackass, right? Why are, apparently, so many managers like this?
