I’m stuck in a shitty spot. I don’t have a car and I can’t afford a car in this market especially with my credit

I luckily found a decent WFH job paying $16.80/hr but that's just enough to pay my existing bills. Certainly not enough to add on an auto loan and full coverage insurance. Not to mention my credit score is hovering around 550 because I've never used a credit card or had a loan before. The only things I've ever financed were my two TVs. I recently got some IT certifications and I want to get a better job so I'm not living paycheck to paycheck but I don't have any way of actually getting to them. I've been having to rely on other people for rides or borrowing their car just to get groceries and food for my cats. Otherwise, I've been stuck in my apartment. It really sucks. Public transportation is nonexistent where I live. I just don't know what to do.
