So I recently turned the legal age to work where I am, and like any kid who wants their hands on money I’m searching for a job. My parents want me to work at a fast food stop, but don’t know they are the reason why I am actively avoiding it.
They’re the typical “blow their shit up if one fry is missing” type and seeing how they treat people working those jobs makes me scared, knowing that my parents are just a drop in the bucket. If anytime we go out that happens, then I cannot fathom how people go to work everyday like that. I’m trying to get a job anywhere that doesn’t involve customer service first, and trying to at least talk my parents into showing an ounce of humanity to every person they hurt.
I genuinely don’t want to work if this is how it’s going to be.
