Some of you might get the idea just from reading the title. Thats the truth. I’m tired, really I am so fucking tired.
Eventhough I am working in a good position for a somewhat reputable company, I cant help but continuosly feel like I am being exploited. Sure, the salary is good, two years ago. But now? Works piled up, responsibilities getting bigger and I’m still being paid peanuts.
I got so much plans in life that stuck just because of my current lifestyle (having a family) just couldnt support it. Im in dire need for a raise, but talking to the company they’ll reply with bullshits like “been recovering from covid” eventhough their health division making good profits selling PPE for consumers.
I was promised a promotion a few months back, but its not on paper so I wouldnt hold my breath. Ive tried doing some other things for side incomes – but when this work and having a family is consuming most of my hours, I cant keep on sleeping late and just getting about 2 hours of sleep every day.
I wanted to switch jobs but looking for work around here is hell and the market for my field is rather niche, and their pay is peanuts too.
Yesterday was the breaking point for me, as my company did this thing where employees joins this some sort of bullshit seminars and we are asked to brainstorm of way to to figure out on how to improve company value so the employees feels happier. They are so fucking out of touch. Seeing other fortune 500 and wanted to immitate their working culture.
Want to know how to make employees happier? Give them better pay you dumbasses. Fucking out of touch boomers in managerial positions is making me sick.
