I’m tired of the blatant disrespect

I’m the youngest of the office by about 5 years. I started working at 20, as I graduated with my bachelors at 20. I worked hard to get ahead. I’m now 23, I’ve been with my current employer for about 3 years. I’m never taken seriously – even though I’m right most of the time. My current boss is wildly rude. When he’s done talking to you, he waves his hand in your face. He works at a snails pace, and he moves even slower. He threatens to withhold my days if I don’t complete work that he holds up. Today, he’s ignored my request for Friday off as my uncle is having open heart surgery. I emailed him two hours ago. My coworker, the only other person in my department, was nice until my past boss left. Now, he’s rude. He makes comments if I’m not wearing makeup. He says rude things about my family, which he doesn’t have anything he’s going off of. He makes assumptions about my ethnicity, and has gone as far to make jokes about how I’m a “good Korean” and not a “bad” one. He has also told me “when I’m promoted and I’m your boss, I’m going to give you all of my work so I can do more important things.”

Our executives are disengaged. One has never spoken to me, despite me finding his wallet and returning it to him. Another has blatantly walked past a room I was having a meeting in, greeted the other person, and moved on.

They “gifted” us the ability to work from home ONE day a week. But this doesn’t start until after the Fourth of July. I’ve been asking for remote for months. They think pizza parties are better for morale.

Hell, I’ve even been told “you were the diversity hire.”

I have my resignation drafted and everyday I’m tempted to print it and turn it in. I’m so tired of being treated like I’m dumb.
