Increased Travel

I recently started a position (1 week in) during the interview process I was told 99% of the time I would be home every night. This next week I will be working 2 hours away, 12 hour shifts then staying in a hotel room M-W and then within this next month I have been told I'll be another 2 hours away staying out of town for a week straight to “save the customer some money where we can” This is already beginning to feel like a bait and switch but I am unsure. Thoughts?
