I was told I was being written up last Thursday. I wanted to discuss the matter before signing and my boss went off the handle and wouldn't even let me speak. He said he didn't want to hear it, that I needed to sign, and then he said I would then need to go home because I was “indefinitely suspended”. I said “I ain't signing shit”. And he said to go home.
I packed all my shit and went home. I then texted the owner of my store and my former manager and said I would need clarification because indefinite would imply I'm fired. Neither answered, so I filled for unemployment. Now they want me to come in for a “review” on Monday and they told the state I was suspended so unemployment is held up. Do I go?
