Independence for at base drivers

So for a couple week every time my Hulu cuts to commercial I get this ad for “independence for at base payed drivers” (idk if that’s what it really says) but it’s claiming “83% of these drivers want to stay independent” (door dash,Uber, etc.) and there is a bill/vote coming up clearly going to involve this. I find it hard to believe they’re paying so much money on advertising for “the benefit of the drivers” we all know that they wouldn’t be paying this much for ads to be shot to me multiple times a day if it wasn’t mostly beneficial to corporates pockets. I think a while ago I heard it basically being they don’t want to pay their workers “fairly” aka minimum wage in their eyes or more. When I look it up I can’t find anything besides “83% if drivers want this so you should vote for…
