Inflation and cost of living

I found something out recently that kind of puts in perspective the housing crisis. In 1922 a new house average cost was around 6K and used houses about 3K The median income was 3296$/year….. Minimum wage was half that roughly. 2022 new homes in a low cost of living area are 100K+ with an average cost of 350K used houses are easily 50-100K even in areas below the poverty line. 2022 average income is 54K… Minimum wage is around 15K per year. I’m not a socialist by any means of the word….but we have long since passed things being reasonable.
