I'm an undergraduate student who was interning at a small startup. Things ended badly and my internship was terminated. I was asked to send a document with all the tasks I had accomplished over this time period along with the amount of days I had worked on each task.
The owners think that the work I did over 18 days was only equivalent to 2 days worth of work, and have paid me accordingly. I'm not sure on how to proceed because I do want all my money that I rightfully deserve, at the same time I feel if I act aggressive then I won't end up getting the entire amount?
The legal system in my country is very expensive and drawn out so I would prefer not involving it, as it would require a huge investment in terms of both time and money on my behalf.
