So I’m an occupational therapist looking for a new job. I do one interview with the recruiter who reached out to me via Indeed and then had a 2nd phone interview with the Regional VP all within like 2 hours of each other.
I asked a lot of hard hitting questions, one was do they offer annual raises. Answer is no! So I’m like how do you keep employee morale up or recognize your employees for a job well done? She says, “Oh you know leadership spotlights and I just sent some gifts to my buildings” -_- COME ON! She gives me the typical runaround answers of “well we do regularly look at our wage grids and I guess we should now that inflation went up.”
Im gonna do an in person interview but don’t think I’ll accept the position if they don’t give AT LEAST a COL raise.
I know my worth and know what I deserve. Gonna keep interviewing for other places but damn they really screw us over in the healthcare industry! Fuck being a “hero”. Pay me what I’m worth with all the benefits!
