Is a global proletarian revolution even worth it considering climate catastrophe?

Warning: This question is for leftists (Marxists / Anarchists), so please no liberals. I am an r/collapse frequenter so any familiar ones from that subreddit are also welcome. So let us consider a mildly realisitic & most optimistic scenario for the global proletariat. Currently there is sectarianism in leftist organizations. Let us for once consider that we get rid of our Nationalist and personal boundries and are able to organize together. The global bourgeoisie is set to get a big blow in the future due to climate change. According to Limits to Growth published by MIT (It was also recently revised / updated) we are set for a large scale civilization collapse around 2040. Of course the researchers themselves declared it as a study and refrained from using it as a prediction model so let us be conservative and consider that the global civilization would not completely collapse but merely…

Of course the researchers themselves declared it as a study and refrained from using it as a prediction model so let us be conservative and consider that the global civilization would not completely collapse but merely be in stage of rapid decline around 2040. This would mean worse standards of living, corporates will monopolize in order to stop profits from declining, countries will get more authoritarian, workers will own nothing and will have to exclusively sell labor to survive in pathetic conditions.

Now so far we have been conservative, let us also be optimistic and say that the global left is able to use this situation to its favor to ignite a global proletarian revolution and even defeat the global bourgeoisie establishing Socialism or Anarchy depending on what suits you. (Keep in mind that it is the best scenario we have).

By the speed we are warming we will be well above 1.5C by 2040. 1.5C is a joke among climate scientists, nobody believes that we will be below 1.5, infact a lot beleive that it is hard to be below 2C. Let us consider that war with combination of other factors will lead to even more GHG emissions. By the time we stabilize after Proletarian revolution it won't be wrong to think that we might be around 2C of warming.

What if temperatures rise 2C

A 2C rise in temperature will mean Tipping points. Tipping points are the real danger about Climate change. People believe that as soon as you stop emmitting GHG all is well. That's not how it works. Tipping points are positive feedback loops, after certain increase in temperature you create positive feedback loops (Things which release GHG / increase heat even without human interference) which means that temperature gets out of control and starts rising even when humans stop emmitting GHG.

A 2C world will mean a definitive 3C world due to tipping points.

What if temperatures rise 3C

  1. 3C world triggers even more tipping points. Arctic ice melts and water absorbs more heat while GHG trapped in ice is released into atmosphere. This happens around 2040 (conservative estimate) or maybe earlier.
  2. Glaciers melt, rivers run dry, river-fed agriculture becomes impossible, India and other countries are no longer food secure. This happens in 2-3C warming.
  3. As land becomes barren because plants die due to heat stress, soil releases CO2 (Lots of CO2 is stored in soil). This happens in 3C warming
  4. Heat waves cause plants to emit CO2 rather than absorb them. This happens in 3C warming.
  5. Ecosystems collapse at 2C warming.
  6. Wet Bulb temperatures become so extreme at 3C that it is impossible to live in tropics due to how humid it is.
  7. Agriculture is very sensitive, rain is erratic and comes in storms in huge amounts more rarely, diseases increase and heat stress rises.

Even if we shift all our resources to preventing climate catastrophe after a global proletarian revolution (Mind you this is the best case scenario), can we do anything? We would have triggered tipping points and at that point we are talking about run-away global warming as the climate continues to warm at a far more alarming rate even without humans releasing GHG.

At that point we would be suffering from global crisis due to failure of agriculture and water scarcity. We would have to industrialize at a large scale (To prevent famine) which would require even more GHG instead of decreasing it. Our only chance is to deindustrialize (And even then it is bleak because by that time we would be in run-away global warming) but would the workers want it?
Some might say 'Techno-hopium' but when we are suffering due to global famines, tensions and crisis, will we realisitically able to use all our resources on Technology which we don't even know will work?

A 6C world means collapse of civilization as our atmosphere gets full of Hydrogen sulphide, Sulphur Dioxide and Methane gas which makes life near to impossible for mammals, insects, reptiles and other beings.

Is there any hope to worker's revolution? Or by 2040 would it be too late as by the time we meaningfully get rid of GHG we would have crossed all tipping points and would have risen to around 3C warming with huge food and water insecurity by that time?

Edit – Wow so far this post has 0 upvotes, did I write something so wrong in my post? I merely wrote what I so far knew was right and wanted someone to disprove me in the comments so that I get some hope, seems like people are more into blind-optimism rather than science. This subreddit is for worker's struggle, if you all are struggling even after so much doom surely you all must know something? Or so I thought.
