I work weekends only, my kids have been sick since Sunday and it has now passed onto me. I have a headache, low grade fever, sore throat, cough and congestion. (Covid tests have been negative for us)
It is only starting and I know it will get worse as the days progress, but I'm worried that Thursday is too early to call out for my Saturday/Sunday shifts. That they'll be doubtful that I'll still be sick by then or they'll tell me to wait and see, or something.
I also am the only one working those two days (7am-8:30/9pm) and want to give them ample time to find coverage.
Should I wait until tomorrow?
Why do companies make this so difficult?? Uggghh
