So yesterday, I had an interview with a company. I cleared the first two rounds and then in the last round, there was this manager who after looking at my resume kept asking me on why I am changing my field, why am I not continuing with the same job.
He kept pressing on for answers and he wasn't looking interested at all, he also kept saying that you've done a lot of courses and you're confused with your career choices. I mean there are many people in this world who change their career after a certain point, it's normal, people's interest change, nobody wants to be stuck at the same point, some people want to grow and develop new skills, right?
What is wrong in doing that? He indirectly said that you're not sure about your path and we don't see you staying long in our company so I am going to reject you. I don't know what to even say here.
Did I make a mistake by changing my career path? Is it always going to be like this?
