Soon I’ll be graduating from high school, and I’ve been debating whether I should even try to go to college. My grades are all over the place, I’m not eligible for any scholarships, and the money situation at home isn’t doing very well, so I’m not going to ask for any help from them, even though I feel they would help if I asked.
I’m debating between a gap year before going to a nearby community college, or moving halfway across the country(Mass>Colorado) and renting a place with the bit of savings I have left before finding a job at Walmart or some place similar. I just figured I should try and get my life together before I end up not able/wanting to do anything with it. Any advice is appreciated as I am a horribly ignorant person.
