My workplace is always understaffed so every single day i’m not scheduled I get a call asking for me to come in. Most days I am able to but today when they called I said no. I work in a retail store and my school starts up again tomorrow so before they called me I was planning on going there to get some new clothes for school. I still plan on going shopping but I wanted to go there as I have a 10% discount when shopping there. Would I be wrong for this? Honestly i’m new to working and don’t know where to ask so i apologize if this is off topic.
I’m not going to go, I’ll find another store. 🙂 Also they asked me 30mins before 5 to cover a shift from 5-10 so I said no.
