is it legal to quite my job and walk out on the clock when I’m the only employee working right now?

The stress of this job has become too much. Been spat on (literally) by one too many customers for something I have no involvement in (we ran out of cat food… At a gas station btw… At 3am) And I just… I want to walk out and never come back so bad. But because we're 24hours, the doors only lock from the inside. So I literally can't lock up after myself…. Which would mean the store gets robbed blind before my manager gets here in three hours when I'm supposed to clock out. $13/hour while working alone at a hotspot next to an airport for 9 hours a night is not worth this, but I don't want charges brought against me
