Is it normal for bosses to not even say Hi any more?

I called my boss today (because the company had fucked up and I needed to solve it) and when she picked up, she just said 'I HAVE FIVE MINUTES' which I found incredibly rude. Collegues said that bosses are busy etc. but I think that saying Hi is just the basic respect you should give someone no matter what?
