My employer has changed my pay rate 3 times since I started back in March. First it was offered at $12/hr + commission, then bumped up to $16/ hr + commission. Except now I am looking at my paystubs from the past 2 pay periods and there is no commission paid out at all. I asked my boss about it and he had said they were still paying me at the “$18/hour training pay”. Except obviously that is not the case, my paystub says $16. Should i call the department of labor? Not sure if they have violated anything since they are trying to fix the issue.
I feel like they are being intentionally confusing so that myself and my other coworkers don’t bother to check their paychecks.
