Is it wrong for me to want to know the schedule of the job I applied for before going for the interview?

I recently applied for a job on indeed. A woman got back to me the next day and said the shift that was needed was 4pm-12am and asked if I would like to come in for an interview. Maybe it's a type of thing where they work with you on the days? I just think it's a waste of both our time and gas for me if I show up and the schedule they want me to work doesn't work out for me. I don't necessarily want to push the issue. I'm just tired of being told minimum information until I already show up for the interview and I can't make it work. Any thoughts?
