I am a woman, btw. So, my boss is like 45 or something and a little demonic goblin at work. Soon as I clock in, I get yelled at because I repeat something back to her to confirm, there is no indication of tone in my voice. I just want to remember what she told me. Split second later she smiles and says today is going to be a great day! This is happening to me and every employee every single day. I work in Orthopaedics as the front desk and she is taking forever to fully staff the office so she has to basically work 3 jobs. Not my fault. Not anyone's but her own. Anyway, when I lived with my mother, she went through menopause around 37. It was hell. So much screaming and aggressiveness over the smallest things. I stayed away and locked myself in my room. I wish I could do the same at work. If she is going through menopause, why oh why can't they just pay is to stay home during that time. It's AWFUL!!! employees cry like every week because of her. I'm looking for another job and I've only been with this one for 5 months!
Idk, just need to vent. And try to understand. Anyone else been the one going through menopause at work or suffered at the hands of someone going through it?
Edit: ashamed to say I never really looked into menopause bc I'm only 27. Only assumed people can be jerks based off my own experience living with menopausal mother.
