I work for university dining in a wisconsin public university. They have uniforms we put on before we clock in. I clocked in before putting it on and got told that it is against policy, while I said it was not proper following of the legal labor codes. Is this correct on my part or is putting on a uniform before work considered labor? I know usually it is not but because we are unable to take them home and they are kept at the place of business I do not know.
