I recently joined a consulting firm sourcing and onboarding candidates for BPOs as an “HR Recruiter”, however, the nature of the job seems to be heavily sales oriented and target based. I have to call and coldcall candidates and convince them to go for extremely exploitative and low-paying jobs. If I fail to onboard at least 10 candidates within the first 10 days of the month, I will be fired. I have an extremely reserved personality to be in sales and it doesn't interest me at all. Did I get scammed?
