I interviewed for a tax staff accountant role entry level. I am graduating in one month so my skill set is beginner. The director of tax who interviewed me seemed chill super cool. I said I was comfortable with 1040’s but I’m willing to try new things and he said he’s not sure why the job is listed as hybrid as it’s going to be fully remote…great I wanted that anyways. Then he ends off with saying eventually computers will be doing 1040’s so I’m not sure if that’s bad or good. Then the next interviewer came in and she is a partner and she is mean. She would roll her eyes and scoff at what I said and it tripped me up quite a bit. She also looked down on me for working at a liquor store during college. I guess I just want to know is her behavior normal? Mind you my answers weren’t dumb she was just being rude.
