Applied for this job at a clothing store. I am non binary & my name comes across as such I must say. Anyway this job I applied for is one, communicating with me through texts. No official correspondence or anything. No phone call. They asked for my availability & such. After I responded they said, & I quote
“Hello,
Thank you for the response.
Would you mind visiting to see each other for a brief conversation? This won't be an official interview, though. I just would like to see who is applying, now.”
What conversation are we going to have that can’t be done over the phone?? Why do I have to come in especially if it is not an official interview it seems like a waste of my time. And a way just for this person to see me & discriminate. I am trans & very vigilante about stuff like this.
