Is work able to make you have your break an hour into the shift?

So I work at Mcdonalds in the UK, recently they have been sending me on break too early into the shift. I do long 9+ hours a day, but theres an issue that there sending me on break too early. Managers are walking around with their list of people who are in today, their hours, finish times, etc. I start working, hardly anything is going on, not many customers and 1 hour into the shift I get sent on break and managers say “I need to get your break out of the way” and that in itself I find upsetting. It’s called break for a reason, not “getting it out of the way” as soon as possible. I explain I’ve only been in for an hour and I have a long shift ahead, but the manager dosn’t even look at me waves their hand at me to go. I might as well have started an hour later and not had a break at all. By the end of the shift I’m extreamly exausted. This isnt the first time this has happened either, if I’m lucky it will be 2 hours into the shift. This is happening to other staff too, and multipul diffirent managers are doing this. But managers give themselves the best break times and save theirs for later in the shift for when it fits them best.

Surly this isnt right? It feels like their abusing power and cheating the system abit, is this leagal at all? Any suggestions on what I should do?
