25 y/o M – Baltimore/DC area – Sales looking to move to Data Analytics
So, I'm being put on PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) next month and I have a feeling my numbers aren't going to improve because their standards are high and because I hate my job and I'm burnt out af. They say they're not going to can me, but idk. I'm stressed af because this is my first “career” job out of college and I feel like it would look terrible to get fired.
My dream is to go into Data Analytics, but I still have a bit to go through before I can complete my certificate and I feel like I'm crunched for time. I've created a portfolio website and have been applying to jobs on LI, but I'm feeling depressed because I feel like every job requires at least 1 year experience and I don't have that.
Has anyone been in this position? If so, what did you do? Does anyone have advice on what to do for applying for DA jobs specifically?
