It is wild to me that rich people get to take sabbaticals and just not do anything they don’t want to for months or even years

Our CTO decided he's just gonna up and fuck off to Bermuda for a year. Meanwhile here I am, burning through my savings whilst working because inflation's financially destroying me. Just delightful. I hate this.
