It just seems a bit excessive…

I’m at a Starbucks in North Las Vegas right now. There was just my wife, my two kids, myself and one other customer in the store. Every worker seemed mellow and professional. Mr. Manager comes out and tells his few workers in a loud tone, “Hey, let’s use our inside voices.” I thought it was a joke. It wasn’t. Everyone continued working. He went up to a young barista and almost got in her face and tried to talk to her about using her “inside voice”. She apologized very sheepishly like she was going to get punished. What the hell was that???
