The company I currently work with always boasts about work culture and how we're all “family.” Well after giving 3 years of my time to this company with high approval from my direct manager, I've been denied any job title promotions due to upper management decision. It's not because there's no job position available, it's because my company would rather hire outside individuals with “experience” than teaching and growing employees that currently work with the company. Even my manager feels bad and say I should go to a different company if I want to advance in my career. The reason I stayed with this company so long was because i felt comfortable and searching for new jobs would always be a tiresome experience. Today was my last straw and i am leaving this company and will never be loyal to another company again.
