I have a full time “9-5” type job but money has been tight lately so I’ve been trying to get a part time side job. I’ve applied to 25 and had one interview that seems to have gone nowhere and just got an email from Aldi after 2 months saying they went with other candidates and of course no explanation why. Not that it matters too much.
It is odd to me that these companies don’t want to hire people. Even if I’m “overqualified” why would that matter if I’m willing to do the job? I’d like to make an extra $800 a month because my good job won’t pay me more right now and I’m not in a position to leave. Like, wtf?
I’ve been at my job for 8 years and with turnover rates how they are wouldn’t they want someone who is as they say, “loyal”?
I’m just frustrated and floating check to check trying to and wanting to change my situation but they don’t seem to want to let me.
