I just overheard in the physiotherapist clinic next to the medical practice I work at (in the same building), a health worker training a new person in how they close. They started off with 'it's only 5 minutes after your shift, and it's lazy and you're not a team player if you don't stay back after you've finished'.
As they were leaving I said goodnight and asked whether they are going to get paid for staying back 5 minutes. 🤣 they ignored me haha
I hate that mentality! I mean, where will it end? 10 minutes? 15 minutes? 30? Get outta here.
