It’s your fault you’re sickly.

This is basically how it feels at my job. I have to call off quite a bit because I'm just a sickly person, and it runs in the family. I've been this way since I was a baby. Whether it be just getting sick normally or getting the 'big sickness' of the year. I got swine flu back in middle school even, and I've gotten covid at least 3 times despite taking all the precautions I could. But our job has a 'point system' despite me working with and handling food. I've always been riding the line of those points, but have been forced to come in at times despite being sick. The real kicker is despite having insurance, the job doesn't pay enough for me to even think of going to the doctor since there's still a heavy copay for nearly all of it. The only decent part of our plan is for vision. But I can't even afford to see a doctor to get a 'doctor's notes' for proof when I am sick, since it's the only way to not get points.

My manager came to me again to have me sign something and said it's my final warning and to please behave because he doesn't want to lose me since I'm a good worker despite me being a sickly person. I've been with this company for 3 years.

It pisses me off that these companies always say they don't want to lose you, but won't pay you enough or give you good enough insurance in case something is wrong with you. But yet my older coworker abuses FMLA because her husband is a little older than her? But he's perfectly healthy and she just makes up reasons to use FMLA because she herself is physically falling apart, but can't afford to see the doctor all like that either. And she's admitted it to us. And they can't do a thing about it.

Sorry this job just has me on the ropes.
