Antiwork

I’ve been jobless for 7 months and it’s the happiest I’ve ever been in my life.

The office was shut down during COVID and I worked remotely for almost 2 years. My job was easily done 100% remotely (data entry, emails, purchasing, account maintenance and customer communication). I was “let go” after refusing to commute 3 hours each way when I left the state my former company was in. I have not collected a dime from unemployment, I’ve been living off my savings. Every time I think about getting back into work I am immediately anxious. I now live outside the US and am the happiest I’ve ever been. I use my time to enjoy life, work out, learn a new language, explore the country I live in now. I never want to work again but the money is running out. 🙁 If you are ever fortunate enough to not work for a few months or a year, I wholeheartedly recommend living to LIVE for as…
