I've been getting calls/emails from recruiters pretty regularly. They share the job, requirements, how “fun and challenging” the work will be… then I ask for the salary range. They push back, and I let them know to get fucked.
Then I go to LinkedIn to find someone from HR at the company to let them know their headhunting company sucks. I don't care if we're talking about the first job for a teenager or for a director… tell someone the salary range. At least one recruiter has lost a contract (allegedly) after I've reached out.
