As you know, people perceived by others as women are often expected to put on a theatre at work with overbearing attitude.
I would like to understand whether it is a way of bullying, because if it is I won't tolerate it.
I have just recently started a role in which I'm facing clients and I've been told by a supervisor/manager that I'm not smiling enough.
As it is I'm already faking smiling a lot and it seems what is expected of me is to be annoying and out of touch by coming at clients with a stupidly cheerful attitude.
Any advice?
