I’ve Felt Lost Since High School

It seems like every 17-18 yr. old in high school is subjected to the same “what do you want to do for the rest of your life” talk from parents and councilors. When I was a senior in high school in 2018, many of my classmates had ideas about their dream colleges and careers since they could walk. I had always felt like I wanted to do something creative, but never really knew what I was suited for. Ever since I graduated, I've worked a couple of jobs and gotten my Associates degree. Currently, I am in a job where I make a somewhat decent wage for someone of my age; but the job works against most of the goals that I had thought about in high school. Long story short, I really want to pursue jobs that I have a great interest in, but at this point in time I am engaged and have bills to pay and I'm really struggling with the idea of pursuing anything other than my current job. It helps provide financial stability, but the work is so mind numbing to me in addition to long shifts and long work weeks. The jobs that I have an interest in would have been a good place for me to start fresh out of HS, but now that I have financial responsibilities and I don't have to worry about just me, I don't feel like I can safely pursue other ambitions. Does anyone have any advice? This job pays the bills, but I want more out of life than what I'm doing now.
