I recently had a horrible experience at a restaurant job. I was made to stand for my entire shift despite only 5 people coming in the whole eight hours ( I counted ) and by the third day on the job I quit. Now over a month later and week after I requested them to send me my check through the mail they still refuse to mail me my check and say that they've never done that before. What should my next move be? I live in the us and I been thinking of submitting a request for my records of wages through the department of labor since at this point I don't trust the store.
