I'm completely dumbfounded by this. I work in the South so I can't get too specific but I work in the healthcare field and I was forwarded an email less than half an hour ago asking to donate to the company's PAC. Some of the wording that was used consisted of:
' we have to be politically active to survive and thrive'
' our PAC was formed to support our industry… Not for political ideologies'
' donating is purely voluntarily…. We strongly encourage you to donate from your paycheck'
I don't even know what to think, other than I need to start looking for another job. Is this even legal?
