Job requested routing and account number for direct deposit. Fine, whatever. They also wanted a credit card number to approve for purchases. …Weird, but fine. But on the form was a request for user name and password that I left blank. Today they reached out saying I cannot finish onboardinh without giving them my personal log in to access my bank account in order to verify my account.
When I told them I am not sharing this information, they said it is temporary and I can change my log in information after.
Has anyone heard of this? WTF?
