I work in the field of social work/social services. I applied for this job in case management working with kids in the system.
The pay said $30/hr which is on the higher end in Florida. The description also said it was full time.
These fuckers call me to tell me it’s a temporary position (so no benefits) and that it’s a 6 month contract with the possibility of making it a permanent position.
The kicker was that the pay rate would decrease after the 6 months and that it’s a competitive pay initially because their basically desperately hiring.
