Hey all so long story short I work at a retail store which sells discounted items mostly clothing. We get a lot of shoplifters and recently one of them confronted me and we got into a brawl outside of the store. My boss said not to go back to work until HR finishes the investigation of what happened. It’s been 3 weeks and haven’t been told anything yet, I am the one checking up on how it’s going. My boss seems annoyed I keep asking what’s gonna happen and just says that soon they’ll say something. I was planning on quitting anyway I’m already looking for another job. But I don’t know what to do, apparently HR is still investigating what happened.
Side note: The reason I fought the guy was because he kept talking shit and eventually pushed me.
