I was in a two-hour correspondence and 'interview process' (it was all in Skype chat when I thought I would video call at some point) when the would-be employer 'hired' me and started asking for my financial details. It felt so sketchy from beginning to end and I just wanted a win, but these folks are out here trying to grift people already dealing with employment bullshit.
