Job is requiring employees to share hotel rooms at mandatory conference

Hi everyone. I work for a larger nonprofit, about 2k employees. I just started a few months ago so I don't know very many people well. It was just announced that we will be having a mandatory conference where they do provide hotels but you're required to share a room. I know since we are a nonprofit they are penny pinching so I get that. But I'm so uncomfortable with this, for so many reasons. I am neurodivergent and just thinking about this makes me feel anxious and overstimulated to the point of tears. I would understand if it was just one or the other, like roomies were required but it wasn't mandatory to come, or vice versa. Is this normal? I don't know what to do or who to talk to.
